PRINCE GEORGE - Prince George Sikhs celebrated Vaisakhi last Saturday with a joyous get together at the temple premises which was joined by RCMP officers who were excited to be taking part in this year’s annual Sikh Vaisakhi parade, which took place Saturday, May 17.

“Our relationship with the Sikh community is strong and deeply valued. Many of our police officers proudly belong to this community and welcome the opportunity to share both their cultural heritage and their commitment to public service with their families, friends, and the broader public,”said Constable Praban Basra, a police officer with the Prince George RCMP.

Seven of their local Prince George RCMP officers attended the parade this year.
