SHREVEPORT - An arrest has been made in connection to the fatal shooting of an Indo-American trucker that took place on I-20 on April 23.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office told local media outlet KSLA that 34-year-old Amanvir Singh of Mississippi has been arrested for the murder of 36-year-old Gurpreet Singh Judge, who was shot and killed after the two had a verbal confrontation on highway I-20.

Police said Gurpreet Singh Judge, driving a dark-colored SUV, got into some sort of verbal altercation with Amanvir Singh and both drivers pulled over and got out of their vehicles.

Judge then tried to run away but the SUV driver Amanvir Singh reportedly “executed” him. Singh then fled the scene.
