Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made his annual trek to Vancouver for the Vancouver Gay Pride Parade, which attracted a huge crowd on a beautiful Sunny day in downtown Vancouver. No there was no send off "Kiss" from the PM to outgoing Vancouver mayor Greg Robertson (now that would be something to see) but there was a lot of the usual colour and glamour that defines Gay pride and what makes it stand out from other parades. Vancouver police were also out in full force and used a city Dump Truck as a barrier – something the RCMP could learn to do at the annual Vaisakhi Parade in Surrey. After the Vancouver event, Trudeau headed to the Surrey-Delta Liberal Team's annual BBQ in North Delta hosted by Minister Carla Qualtrough and Surrey MP Sukh Dhaliwal.
