SURREY – Another extortion-related shooting in Surrey early Sunday morning targeted a well known Indo-Canadian restaurant.
Surrey Police Service (SPS) said they are investigating an early morning shots fired incident at a Surrey business believed to be Paratha Pasta restaurant that has resulted in property damage.

At approximately 2:30 am on December 14, SPS Frontline officers responded to calls of possible shots fired outside a business located in the 8000 block 120 Street, Surrey. SPS’s Frontline Investigative Support (FLIS) Team has taken conduct of the investigation. The investigation is in its early stages and investigators will be in the area and continuing to gather both digital and physical evidence. SPS will liaise with police partners to determine if there are any links to other files. At this early stage, it is believed to be extortion related.
